I tried to log onto my user area and it took longer than usual to load up and when it finally loaded up it had a blank background and my documents, no task-bar or shortcut. The only way I got onto the internet was by going on my downloads going on Spotify and then clicking on an advert, for the past couple of days I've been getting warnings saying that I have a harmful virus so I clicked 'Remove' and it said it had gone but every hour or so it kept coming back up. Also I have Windows Vista.
